Introduction
CafeOS runs an internet cafe from one place: the PCs your customers use, the counter where they pay, and the numbers at the end of the night.
It has three parts:
- The shop server runs on one PC in your shop (usually the counter PC). It holds your members, prices, sales and sessions, and it's where staff work: the POS, the Stations page, Reports.
- The PC client runs on every customer PC. It locks the PC until someone logs in, keeps time, and shows your App library.
- Your account at cafeos.23rdtechnologies.com, where you get your license and the installers.
Everything in the shop talks over your own network, so the shop keeps running when the internet is down. The internet is only needed to activate and renew your license.
