Activate your license

Your license tells the shop server how many PCs it can run and until when. You get it by adding your shop in your account; the activation code looks like CAFE-7KQ3-M9TX-4HPW.

Where to find your code

Sign in at cafeos.23rdtechnologies.com → My shops → open your shop. The code is at the top, with a copy button.

Activating

The server PC needs internet for this step only.

• During setup: the License step asks for the code. Type it and click Activate.
• Later: in the staff app, open Settings → License, type the code and click Activate.

Settings → License then shows your plan, how many PCs you can run, and until when. The server checks with CafeOS by itself every few hours whenever it's online, so a plan change or renewal reaches it on its own; Check now does it right away.

No internet yet?

Choose Start the 3-day trial in setup. The shop works normally for 3 days; activate before it ends, from Settings → License. After it ends, sessions already running finish but new ones can't start until you activate.

Moving to another PC

A license works on one server at a time. If you replace or reinstall your server, open your shop in your account and click Move to another server, then activate the new server with the same code.

When a license lapses

The shop keeps working for 7 days after the paid-until date, and staff see a reminder. After that, new sessions can't start until the license is renewed (then click Check now). Setting the PC's clock back doesn't help: the server remembers the latest time it has seen. Your data is never deleted.
